ROCINHA - Cotidiano e Arquitetura

The exhibit portraits the day to day life of one of the largest favela of Latin America.

Rodrigo spent a year within the community capturing approximately 600 images, he worked together with the community associations with the intention to portrait the every day life from their perspective. The exhibit was curated by Marco Antonio Portela and included 34 images and 200 “monoculos”. The goal of this exhibit was not to portrait poverty, but to portrait human beings using the resources available to them to make the best out of life.
